Ingredients, application and usage
Ingredients:
- PHMB – polyhexanide, characterized by a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, even against antibiotic-resistant bacteria; also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antifungal properties
- Betaine – a mild surfactant that effectively removes mechanical and biological contaminants, including bacterial biofilm
- Purified water – demineralized water free of any impurities, characterized by high sterility, serving as a carrier for other substances
- Silver nanocolloid – very small silver particles that inhibit microbial growth, have anti-inflammatory properties, and maintain effectiveness over time without irritating or sensitizing tissues
Application:
The product can be used for:
- Daily wound hygiene, including surgical wounds, and long-term prevention of infection development
- Disinfection of the skin before medical procedures, including surgical procedures
- Cleansing and disinfecting highly infected wounds, abscesses, ulcers, bite wounds, and cuts
- Treatment of localized first- and second-degree burns
- Non-invasive removal of adhered dressings
Usage:
- Shake the bottle gently before use to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- Spray POLISEPT VET® SPRAY SILVER HOME directly onto the wound or skin from a distance of 10-15 cm, in an amount appropriate for the size and depth of the wound or the area to be disinfected.
- When removing adhered dressings, thoroughly soak them with the product before gently separating them from the wound surface.
