POLISEPT VET® AL – wound dressing for dogs and cats, 3 pieces

• Calcium alginate – a natural polysaccharide derived from seaweed; when in contact with fluids, calcium alginate fibers transform into a gel that does not dissolve in water

The supplement can be used for:

• Wounds with large and moderate exudate
• Wounds with significant tissue loss
• Wounds requiring a drain
• Bleeding wounds, in the cleaning or granulation phase
• Ulcers, burns, and pressure sores without signs of infection

1. Clean the wound with POLISEPT VET® WOUND IRRIGATION or POLISEPT VET® SPRAY.
2. Dry the skin around the wound, then lightly moisten the wound bed itself.
3. Choose the correct size so that the dressing covers the entire wound surface, leaving an additional 2 cm margin.
4. Place the POLISEPT VET® AL dressing directly on the wound. For deep wounds, fill them with an appropriately trimmed amount of dressing.
5. Cover the alginate dressing with an additional external dressing (secure it with a bandage or adhesive tape).
6. POLISEPT VET® AL dressing should be changed every 1-3 days, depending on the amount of exudate. It should be used until the exudate significantly decreases or disappears.

I. Limit the inflammatory process using POLISEPT VET® WOUND IRRIGATION SILVER PRO, POLISEPT VET® WOUND GEL SILVER PRO, or POLISEPT VET® AL/AG

M. Ensure optimal moisture balance with POLISEPT VET® WOUND GEL, POLISEPT VET® H, POLISEPT VET® S, or POLISEPT VET® AL (depending on the presence and amount of exudate)
