Sterile direct dressing that supports the healing process.
POLISEPT VET® H contains a hydrocolloid layer that increases in volume, forming a soft, yellowish gel under which the healing process takes place.
- Maintains proper moisture balance within the wound
- Provides optimal thermal insulation and protects wounds from external infections
- Maintains a balanced, moist environment for granulation and epithelialization of the wound
The product can be used for:
- Wounds with moderate and low exudate levels
- Superficial and shallow wounds
- Deep wounds as a secondary dressing
- Non-infected wounds in the epithelialization or granulation phase
- Wounds with yellow, liquefied necrotic tissue, chronic, and slow-healing wounds
- Clean the wound with POLISEPT VET® IRRIGATION or POLISEPT VET® SPRAY if necessary (in cases of necrosis, necrotic layers should be removed before applying the dressing).
- Dry the skin surrounding the wound.
- Select a dressing size that covers the entire wound surface, leaving an additional 2-3 cm margin (for large wounds, multiple overlapping dressings can be applied).
- Place POLISEPT VET® H directly onto the wound surface and gently press the edges to secure it.
- POLISEPT VET® H should be changed every 2-3 days in cases of moderate exudate, or every 5-7 days for wounds with minimal or no exudate.
