Sterile, self-adhesive direct dressing with high absorbent properties.
POLISEPT VET® S contains a perforated silicone layer, an elastic fiber absorbent layer, and a waterproof and breathable transparent film, enabling quick absorption of exudate.
- Maintaining proper fluid balance in the wound area, the dressing is waterproof
- Optimal thermal insulation of wounds and protection against external infections
- Minimizing the risk of wound maceration and caring for delicate skin
- Clean the wound with POLISEPT VET® WOUND IRRIGATION or POLISEPT VET® SPRAY.
- Dry the skin around the wound, then lightly moisten the wound bed itself.
- Select an appropriate size so that the dressing covers the entire wound surface, leaving an additional 2 cm margin (if the wound is large, several overlapping dressings can be applied).
- Place the POLISEPT VET® S dressing directly onto the wound surface and gently press the edges of the dressing.
- The POLISEPT VET® S dressing should be changed every 1-3 days, depending on the amount of exudate.
- When the amount of exudate has significantly decreased or disappeared, change the dressing every 7 days.
