POLISEPT VET® WOUND GEL SILVER PRO – gel dressing for dogs and cats 30 ml

• PHMB – Polyhexanide, characterized by a broad spectrum of antibacterial action, even against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. It also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antifungal properties.
• Betaine – A mild surfactant that effectively removes mechanical and biological contaminants, including bacterial biofilm.
• Silver Nanocolloid – Ultra-small silver particles that inhibit microbial growth and have anti-inflammatory effects. Their action does not diminish over time, and they do not irritate or sensitize tissues.
• Glycerin – Moisturizes the skin surface, maintaining its elasticity. It also exhibits keratolytic properties, helping to remove dead skin cells.
• Hydroxyethyl cellulose – A natural cellulose derivative and viscosity regulator that maintains the gel structure. It creates a protective layer on the skin, preventing excessive water loss.
• Bitrex – Denatonium benzoate is the most bitter substance known, preventing animals from licking the wound and removing the dressing.

The product can be used as a supportive treatment for:

• Surgical wounds
• Superficial and deep wounds (lacerations, bites, wounds with pockets and recesses)
• Wounds with dry and liquefied necrosis
• Chronic wounds (pressure ulcers, ulcers) and acute wounds (infected and non-infected)
• First- and second-degree burns

Apply POLISEPT VET® WOUND GEL SILVER PRO hydrocolloid gel directly onto the wound in an amount appropriate to the size and depth of the wound.
