POLISEPT VET® WOUND IRRIGATION SILVER PRO – Wound Irrigation Liquid for Dogs and Cats 500 ml

• PHMB – Polyhexanide, characterized by a broad spectrum of antibacterial action, even against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. It also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antifungal properties.
• Betaine – A mild surfactant that effectively removes mechanical and biological contaminants, including bacterial biofilm.
• Silver Nanocolloid – Ultra-small silver particles that inhibit microbial growth and have anti-inflammatory effects. Their action does not diminish over time, and they do not irritate or sensitize tissues.
• Calcium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium chloride – This solution forms Ringer’s solution, with a composition very similar to extracellular fluid in the body, making it non-irritating to tissues.

The product can be used for:

• Decontaminating wounds from biological contaminants (removing necrotic tissue, clots, fibrin fibers, and scabs)
• Removing inorganic mechanical contaminants
• Eliminating bacterial biofilm, even in highly infected wounds
• Stimulating natural wound healing processes and maintaining proper moisture balance
• Non-invasive removal of adhered dressings and scab removal

1. Apply POLISEPT VET® WOUND IRRIGATION SILVER PRO isotonic solution directly to the wound in an amount appropriate to the wound’s size and depth.
2. When removing adhered dressings, thoroughly soak them before gently separating them from the wound surface.
